A while ago I heard from Jenny that The Register (A techy online rag from the UK) was reporting on a vote for a new Barbie doll

Well the results are in Barbie is getting techy:

  1. Guess who's going to be perched on the corner of my monitor at work cone Christmas time. At last a role model for we hard pressed computer industry drones!

  2. I've just done something very geeky after reading the register comments...

Her screen reads 'Barbie' (repeated) if you convert the binary into ASCII. Very subtle.

  6. That would be nice Bree :) I wonder what the guys in the office would make of that (on top of the nail file, nails etc... )

  7. My office were fine with my announcing I have to get one.

Of course, I'd just told them about the binary-to-ASCII conversion at the time :)

  8. Given all the trans folk who seem to work in IT, are you sure this isn't Ken in his weekend attire? :)

  9. Jenny: So you are not geeky enough to convert the binary until you need it!

Lynn: If Ken could pull off the outfit I'd be impressed :)
