That would be even better - there is 100GB of the disk that is still in use for the OSx partition that I would love to get rid of.

As luck would have it someone has shown an interest in the MacBook this week. If they want to give me what I am asking for it then it may be replaced with either an Asus Zenbook with the 3rd gen i7 processor and Full HD screen, or a Vaio with the same similar specs.

Of course if they don't then the Mac will remain a Windows machine - since installing Windows I haven't booted into OSx and except for the thunderbolt port not working as a mini-display port (so I can't use external monitors) it's been fine to use.Stacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07907346657510908857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4187164070937704663.post-69648982196521294802012-06-20T14:34:39.320+02:002012-06-20T14:34:39.320+02:00LOL I did the same thing at work since I was not a...LOL I did the same thing at work since I was not allowed to use my own hardware anymore. That and the windows laptop were awful. Best part Windows 7 can boot a macbook without the need for OSX or Bootcamp to even be installed.Kelli Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13894619011949920947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4187164070937704663.post-45760505548849570022012-06-17T08:06:55.184+02:002012-06-17T08:06:55.184+02:00Red? :-D (I think... It as if someone's taken the best parts of Win7 (for those of us who like the OS ;-) ), sped them up a bit and then plonked the rather tedious Metro interface on top. There are lots of reviews and I've tried it twice. Each time, it last a few days on a test machine and I went back to Windows 7. My main issue is that it seems to be a tablet OS, not a multi-monitor + mouse working office system. Shame. I had hoped that MS had learned from the Vista fiasco, but it seems the MarketingBorg have steamrolled through the company once again. :-(Lynn Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00876715474502367377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4187164070937704663.post-26173590693713520482012-06-16T18:12:10.136+02:002012-06-16T18:12:10.136+02:00Cute Womble thing?
